IPBE Peer Review Process
IPBE uses a double-blind peer review process. Authors and reviewers remain unknown to each other throughout the review process.
Upon receipt of article submission, the Editor in Chief will assess the manuscript for quality and fit for publication in IPBE. If accepted for review, based on quality and fit, the manuscript will undergo plagiarism screening before being assigned to the appropriate Topic Editor, who will manage the double-blind peer-review process of at least two expert external reviewers. Based on the written external reviewer reports and recommendations, the Topic Editor will grant a decision:
Accept – Article published without revision
Accept with revisions – Article published after minor revision
Resubmit – Article resubmitted and reviewed again after major revision
Reject – Article will not be published and cannot be resubmitted
